Do you need a bit of relaxation during your lunch break? Forget the stress of work and let yourself be enchanted by the power of music. Wednesday April 24 kicks off a musical talent parade, enjoy live music in the Central Lobby from 12 to 1 pm.

 

On Wednesday April 24, Deborah J. Carters will provide vocals. Jazz singer Deborah J. Carter (U.S.A.), known for her warm stage personality and virtuoso style, toured worldwide including Japan, China, Germany, India, Spain, Russia, Venezuela, Colombia, Korea, South Africa, Indonesia. In recent years she performed in Dutch theaters with the New York Round Midnight Orchestra. She also worked as Professor of Jazz Vocals at the prestigious Musikene Conservatory in San Sebastian, and at the Conservatory of Osnabruck.

Deborah Carter released a series of CDs under her own name, including her contemporary jazz tributes to The Beatles and Duke Ellington, but she does not shy away from adventurous original projects, such as her vinyl album with Zandscape. At this luncheon concert, Deborah will sing her brand new vocal versions of compositions by jazz giant Chick Corea, interspersed with previously released material.

 

Starting from Tuesday April 30 there will be live music in the Central Lobby every Tuesday until the end of May from 12 to 1 pm. Young talent, as well as established names, will delight your ears weekly with various styles of music. Free entrance!
