Tower Ten has been awarded the ActiveScore Platinum certification. This award is becoming increasingly important in commercial real estate, and recognises buildings that excel in encouraging sustainable and active travel.
ActiveScore assesses how well buildings are prepared for the future in terms of active mobility. It is the only globally-recognised standard specific to Active Travel and directly impacts tenants’ experience.
Besides promoting a healthier and more productive work environment, our facilities and services for active mobility encourage sustainable commuting and contribute to a greener future.
The ActiveScore Platinum certification confirms WTC Amsterdam’s dedication to the welfare of all Tower Ten users, with a focus on active forms of travel such as walking, running, and cycling. ActiveScore evaluates facilities like bike storage, bike racks, changing rooms, and showers, as well as services such as bike repairs and laundry facilities. Additionally, Tower Ten offers bike-sharing services.
Active mobility has a direct impact on the well-being of our users. Poor air quality, exacerbated by emissions from commuting, presents significant health risks. Continued exposure to pollutants can affect the health and productivity of employees and users alike. By promoting active mobility, WTC Amsterdam fosters a healthier working environment for all occupants of the building.
