Antoon van Wijk

Antoon van Wijk (1952) is a Dutch sculptor and painter. Alongside Richard Price, he is the pioneer of glass casting technique. He creates highly idiosyncratic, imaginative sculptures that are playful and exuberant, often eliciting a gentle smile from the viewer. Antoon is renowned as a glass artist, yet in his works, he demonstrates his ability to blend various materials and techniques. His sculptures are widely collected throughout Europe.

Mat Cahill

As a British and Irish citizen, and the offspring and partner of migrants, Mat Cahill’s existence is intimately intertwined with the ever-present sea. While water often serves as a dividing line, separating lands and their inhabitants, it also acts as a conduit, linking communities through trade routes and avenues of escape, offering a passage homeward. Cahill turns to drawing as a means of visualizing the interconnectedness between individuals, thereby escaping the confines of an island mentality.
