Arjan Erkel

How to create a mindset which makes you survive being held hostage for almost 2 years? Arjan Erkel, the formerly director of ‘Artsen zonder Grenzen’, was held hostage for 607 days by masked rebels in Dagestan, Russia. A nightmare he didn’t if he would get out of alive. During these 607 days he learned how to deal with this new situation, and he now wants to share the lessons he has learned from this horrific experience. During this theatrical performance he teaches us, when in a time of change and uncertainty, how we can still remain flexible and continue to grow under the most difficult circumstances imaginable.
