World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Day takes place on Saturday, June 12.
For background, in 2002, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg proclaimed June 12 to be “WTCA Day,” which was subsequently acknowledged by the office of the Secretary General of the United Nations, to recognize the WTCA and its network of WTCs for encouraging and facilitating trade, promoting economic development, and fostering peace. With the ongoing global crisis, now is the time to stand united and demonstrate the ongoing importance and relevance of our network to help local economies navigate today’s changing environment in international business.
To commemorate this celebration, a social media campaign is launched with the hashtag #WTCADAY2021. Everybody is invited to participate to showcase the exponential reach and diversity of our network, as well as the true “Power of Our Global Community”.
