The cost of communal facilities, and services such as waste collection, are covered in the annual service charge. Tenants pay this service charge in advance. At the end of each year, we calculate the actual cost of the services and tenants may be asked to pay an additional fee. At that point, we also determine if the advance payment amount needs to be adjusted upwards or downwards.
